Hi, my name is Vanessa and I am currently in Colombia. I came here about a year ago for health treatment as it is way more affordable than in the U.S (even with health insurance). My recovery after having a severe intoxication due to having covid and being provided with the wrong medication that ended in a fatal reaction (in the U.S,) has been long and slow but thankfully I'm still alive. If it wasn't enough dealing with that, about a month ago I was attacked by some bad neighborhood guys that lucky nough let me go alive but threatened to death demanding that I have to give them some crazy amount of money. Everything was taken from me: my wallet ( with documents), little money at the moment, etc. I am left with nothing. I am requesting some donation so that I can tramit my ID, passport.etc and flee back to the U.S. For now I have a place where to stay but don't have anything to eat.. I've been applying for jobs here but don't have a visa or any Colombian document so they won't take me, I don't even have my own documents because everything ess taken when I was attacked. Some donation that can help have at least one meal a day would definitely make a huge difference. I have offered my help in some placer here just in exchange for food but when they see me all pale and loosing my balance at times due to the weakness for not eating, they assume I'm a drug addict or something and don't want to have anything to do with me. I try to explain to them my situation but I haven't been given the chance. I don't know anybody here and just having food would help me have enogh energy to do other things and take care of the tramits so that I can go back to the U.S

I am a victim of domestic abuse. I am 28 years old. I can't find a stable job. Everytime I do, my family finds the way of sabbotagging it. And freelancing is hard enough for me to reach the end of the month. Everytime I get into a project, they cut the wifi and I have to use mobile data for anything. I can't make use of social media because they discover me each time with the router data or Google Lens and I have no privacy. My parents and my psychopath diagnosticed brother are abusive to me. They are violent. They punch me and choke me, break my things and don't leave me to mantain a reltionship with my friends. I can't escape. I want to escape. But I have no money or opportunities. I need a big sum of money so I can go out and see a friend who is far away and can help me. But nobody needs to know about this, because I plan to escape the house, leaving no clues.
